Cup and A Can.

I feel juice tastes different from a cup than from a can.
Maybe it's the straw. Maybe it's the box. Maybe it's the ice. Maybe it's just my imagination.
But the biggest reason is because of this sound.

Design Principles

For our Visual Arts, we would normally have our "lessons" online. Meaning to say that for every week of lesson, we would have different topics to learn. And for the 5th week of lesson, we were giving the topic Graphics and we had to pick a scene from the movie that we have chosen and talk about how does the scene portrays good design principles.

So i chose this scene from the movie "The Last Samurai" because i felt that in this scene, it has many good design principles in it. It shows good dominance, harmony and contrast.
The shot itself gives this feeling of a sense of fear, authority and conduct in the village. As the samurais being the dominance of the shot, followed by villagers in fear being the contrast of the shot and the samurai on the horses being the second tallest in the scene making it the harmony of the shot.

Kampung Houses

For our final Visual Arts assignment, we were given the topic Architecture and we needed to find out more about it.

I decided to use the traditional malay houses and one of the more modern houses from Malaysia. To start things off, the traditional malay house are traditional dwellings, used way before the arrival of the foreign and modern buildings. The traditional house were constructed by the ethinic Malay. While the modern house are constucted by different architects all over.
Personally, I feel that it is quite amazing how the old houses were built. Even way back then, the buildings are often built without the use of metal, even the nails. The materials they used were natural. Things like timber and bamboo. While the modern houses have the resources for the materials. The traditional house are so flexible that even after it's been built, it could be easily dismantled and recontrusted in a new location. While the modern house has to be demolished and it would need new materials to built a new one from the ground up.
But unfortunately, one of the draw backs of the old traditional house is the climate conditions that it faces and it being made from natural materials, it also has termite problems to deal with. While for the modern house it is not a problem as the materials that is uses are strong enough to withstand the climate conditions.

GOOOOOAAALLL!

Football.
Football isn't just a sport. It's a moment where many people from different backgrounds, countries, genders come together for 90 mins.
It isn't just 90 mins. It's about giving it your all as an individual and as a team.
You're playing for the badge of the team that you have over the left side of your chest every time you put on a jersey.
Giving tackles. Putting challenges in.
Being mentally and physically stronger than the opposing team.
Tactics.
Decision making. Sending offs.
The roar of the crowd when the ball hits the back of the net.

20,000 thousand over fans. 2 teams. 11 players.
90 mins.
1 goal.
It's kick off time.
